Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I am a student at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. In this blog, I will share my experiences and insights gained from my academic journey as well as my projects related to various fields such as robotics, analog and digital electronics, machine learning, computer vision, and more. As a student of electronics and telecommunication, I have been exposed to a wide range of technologies and techniques that have shaped my understanding of the field. Through various academic courses, I have gained knowledge on the fundamentals of electronics, telecommunication systems, and signal processing techniques. Additionally, I have also participated in various competitions and challenges, such as hackathons and coding contests, which have provided me with practical exposure to the application of these concepts. My passion for electronics and telecommunication has led me to explore various project ideas and develop pract...

Automated Plant Watering System

Abstract: The Automated Plant Watering System is designed to be used in home gardening to water plants  when the moisture level in the soil drops below a certain level. Our main objective for this project  is to provide a perfect solution for the problem that we identified, and the product that we  develop should be cost-effective, easily repairable, and durable. In order to realize the design,  we used software such as CircuitLab, Altium, and SolidWorks. The circuit simulation is checked  using the CircuitLab simulator. The PCB design is done using the Altium software, and the  enclosure is designed using SolidWorks software. Introduction: The Automated Plant Watering System is an innovative solution designed to provide efficient and reliable watering for plants. The system is a response to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka and the need to encourage people to cultivate their own food. Many people are unable to tend to their plants due to busy schedules, lea...
