IEEEXtreme 16.0

I am pleased to inform you that I, Kalinga Chandrasiri Y.U.K. of team TechHawks, participated in the IEEEXtreme 16.0 Programming Competition, which took place on October 22, 2022. This competition was attended by over 14,600 participants from around the world, and we were honored to be a part of it. Our participation in this prestigious event was an opportunity for us to showcase our programming skills and to learn from some of the brightest minds in the field.

Participating in IEEEXtreme 16.0, the 24-hour coding challenge, was an exhilarating experience. As a budding programmer, I was eager to test my skills and push my limits. I was thrilled to be a part of this global event, competing with thousands of talented coders from around the world.

As soon as the challenge began, the clock started ticking, and the adrenaline started pumping. The intensity was high, and the pressure was on. I had to think fast, code even faster, and stay focused throughout the entire 24 hours. It was no small feat, but I was up for the challenge.

The competition was tough, and the problems were complex. But I was determined to give it my all. With every passing hour, I gained more experience and honed my coding skills. I learned to work more efficiently, to manage my time better, and to take enough brakes during the competition effectively.

Through the long hours of coding, I discovered my passion for programming. I found joy in tackling difficult challenges and solving complex problems. I learned that programming is not just about writing code, but also about finding creative solutions to real-world problems.

After almost 4 months of facing the challenge, I received my certificate of participation through email. Regardless of the certificates and the prizes, I could experience my own dedication and passion for coding, programming and problem-solving for the first time from this competition.

Here I attach my certificate of participation.

IEEEXtreme 16.0 was an amazing experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a challenging and rewarding event. I gained valuable experience, made new connections, and discovered my passion for coding. I am excited to continue my journey in the world of programming and to explore new opportunities for growth and learning.

Thank You!
